A couple of weeks ago we had to pass on the sad news that Peter Lipscomb had passed away.
Much of what Peter did on behalf of the club went unseen and it'd be an understatement to say he was irreplaceable, however, after more than 40 years we have to appoint a successor as Honorary Secretary.
Although it's not the circumstances anyone would have liked we are very pleased to announce that Paul Quinn has stepped forward to take on the role of Honorary Secretary and was unanimously elected by the Executive Committee.
Paul played for the club through the Junior Section and for every adult team, he's also previously supported the club in a number of off field roles, including Club Captain and is a winner of the Ellis Cup.
We're sure everyone will join us in wishing him the very best in his new role.
